@pg92 yes it is so tough, especially when the treatment causes more side effects than the actual disease (at this stage anyway)! I know it’s all worth it, hopefully, but doesn’t make it any easier. I wonder what normal will be now going forward
@pips12 ah interesting. I too felt quite dizzy and wonder if it was the metoclopermide, although I think it carried on after I stopped taking them so maybe something else. I’ve heard of domperidone (I always thought it sounded like champagne!) but never had it, good to know its a bit better.
@louise15 glad you have got some relief from the hair stress, I think I will go that way, but just not sure I’m ready yet. It’s also reassuring to hear people are feeling a bit better with changes to their meds. Great about the wig, they do look very good so it’s so useful to hear an actual recommendation. You’re really cracking on now which is great, I can’t wait to be half way through EC.
@emma-jayne still not made it to round 2 yet, but I was recommended Epaderm cream and I really like the MooGoo Natural Skin Milk Udder Cream for dry skin. I’m getting headaches but I think linked to days when I get dehydrated. I drink a lot of water, but since it’s cooled down I’ve definitely not been having as much, probably need even more now!
I’m off to try on a couple more wigs tomorrow and then bloods again on Saturday, hopefully with no call back and crack on to round 2 on Tuesday xx
