Hi all, best wishes to all those who have finished chemo now, and have had your surgeries, hoping it all goes really well for you.
I have just had no 7 chemo of 8 overall and 3rd doxetael, like a few of you I’ve become more breathless when going upstairs and have high blood pressure and high heart rate. Mentioned it to chemo nurse in unit yesterday but she didn’t seem concerned and said to just mention to oncology team when they phone in a couple of weeks. Strange really that one of their main concerns is the workings of our bowels, but not other important parts of our bodies.
@emma-jayne so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad, words alone cannot do justice for the loss of someone so close. I lost my mum a few years ago and still miss her terribly especially going through all this. I have my husband and my boys and my friends all supporting me but its my mum’s support I miss the most.
