HER2+ and need some buddies

Lovely to hear from you @sooz1 I hope your radiotherapy has done the job, the waiting is so hard. Thinking of you.

@rainbowbrite10 it’s so horrible when they cancel appointments and don’t give you a replacement straightaway, especially when you are waiting for results. I’ll bee keeping everything crossed you hear soon.

@boobitis pleased you surgery went well, be kind to yourself and take time to recover. Do your exercises when you can and don’t stress if you struggle some days, you will get there in the end.

@fairycake it’s kind of your work to send you home to get to grips with everything that is going on, my headteacher did exact the same for me and it was the best decision with all the tests, phone calls etc. MacMillan offer help with money and work. You can access help online, phone and some hospitals. Maggie’s also offer financial help. They have centres at many hospitals.
Citizens Advice can help as well. Cancer Research also offer financial help with link for grants that may be available to support you during cancer treatment. So pleased to hear your results were good and a date to start chemo.

@chakakhan I’m so sorry to hear you are in hospital. Phesgo can lower your immunity but not as much as when you were on chemo. When I was on Herceptin I was told watch out for infections and report. I was also eligible for free Covid tests for a year after chemo. I hope Dr Liz’s video puts your mind at rest a little. My take from it is to have flu and Covid vaccines if I’m offered. I’ve had flu vaccine since I was 18 as I’m asthmatic. I hope you are feeling better today.
