Hoping someone can reassure me what I am feeling is normal.
Long story short - 5 surgeries last year (2025) from Feb to May, last one mastectomy with immediate implant reconstruction. Radiotherapy finished beginning of July. Developed capsular contracture with ++pain and effecting range of movement so capsulectomy and implant exchange end of Jan 2026.
I am 8 weeks post op and experiencing symptoms I didn’t have after any of other ops and now greatly effecting my daily life as a busy, working 37 year old mum of 2. I have extreme fatigue with me needing to sleep through the day most days, eyes feel blurry/stingy with tiredness, nausea, headaches that last days and severe muscle/bone pain in my hips/thighs, feels like I am getting the flu.
I have had bloods done and slightly low vit D and CT scan which was absolutely fine.
I am at a loss with what to do next, this stage after final op last year I was back to gym and managing really well, I am now just making through a work day with ongoing phased return.
Has anyone experienced this?
