Hi. I completely understand. My situation is slightly different, I am 67 years old and had a single mastectomy and lymph node clearance exactly two months ago. But the feeling of disorientation - going in a short space of time from being fit and well (I ran, walked a lot, did Pilates and went to gym) to being a ‘patient’ and not being able to do everything for myself was a massive shock. I didn’t even know who my GP was or where the main entrance for our local hospital was. Just be kind to yourself, it’s a lot to adjust to in a short period of time and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed. Gradually things improve and you readjust but I wouldn’t pretend it’s always easy. I hope your recovery goes well x
