This is my first post as came across this forum when googling.
I found a lump a couple of months back and went to my GP who advised me they could feel a lump but to come back after my next period to see if it’s still there, after my next period the lump was still persistent on my left breast, she then referred me then on the same day had a call from the clinic to book in for an appointment.
I had my appointment on Monday and the nurse felt it and advised me all felt okay but they’ll know more on the ultrasound and perhaps a biopsy as I’m over 30. I had the scan and they advised me there were a few more lumps on the left breast that looked okay and my lymph nodes and armpit looked fine however the lump of concern wasn’t clear and she really didn’t know what it is so they’ll take a biopsy.
I left with an appointment for next Thursday but my mind has ran away with me with panic, I’m 34 and took nobody with me as assumed the appointment would be okay.
I followed up with a call yesterday and had a nurse call yesterday advising the notes do say they cannot determine what it was on an ultrasound. Has anyone else had this?
