And still i wait! I have had a swab taken and have an appointment to go back on 30.06.08. I am waiting for my mamo & FNA appts to come through.
I must say that i wasn’t impressed with my local hospital. The receptionist ignored me when i arrived and then huffed & Puffed when i went back out to book the next appt. The consultant was just as bad and made me feel like i was wasting his time. His side kick told me not to ‘play’ with my breasts as this would cause traumor to them!! (I wouldn’t have minded, but they have’nt been touched for months). Just what you need when your scared witless. I thought that i would have been treated a little better considering the concern my GP showed. Obviously not! Having read a lot of the discussions on this site it would seem that most of you hwve been treted with some level of empathy. The whole process left me feeling that i should not have gone.
Jingles
Sorry about that Jingles
it may take ages to get all your results - this is the hardest part in some ways
be preared that you often go thinking “and now I’ll know everything” but some out with very little news
it’s very very hard if this happens as you just want to know it all now - there is a build-up every time
good luck with all your results
love FB xxx
one day I will write about my worst hospital experience … it was very upsetting at the time - i was crying for days - but now can see the lighter side
