More questions!!
My breast is now very red/tanned in parts! The shape of the area zapped is quite distinct with straight lines which is noticeable when wearing lowish tops. My question is, does the redness/tan ever fade or go away? I’m hoping to get a holiday in the sunshine in September and if it’s the same as it looks now then it will look a bit daft, may have to put the fake tan on my chest to try and match the other boob!
Also, what about shrinkage? The radiotherapist said to me it WILL shrink , yet the onc said there was a 3% chance of it shrinking…confused as ever.

I had 23 sessions of rads that ended end of May. My “tan” has definately faded. You can still see a slightly darker square where the intensive rads were given.My husband says you can’t see anything when I wear my lower cut tops.
With regards to the shrinkage, I was warned that my boob could shrink not that it definately would.
I think my boob is slightly smaller but to be honest I think that was from the lumpectomy rather than the rads.

Thanks for the information. When you say “intensive rads” was that boosters you had? I’ve not having any boosters and the skinis an even red/tanned look so far!

Yeah the intensive ones were the booster ones where it’s a perfect rectangle over my lumpectomy scar, this is the bit you can still see a little bit, but not in tops.
The normal rads “tan” has definately faded.
