I am new here and wish to share my story in the hope that others can share their similar stories with me as feeling quite lonely…
In december I noticed non-spontaneous bloody nipple discharge from my left nipple, this continued for about 3 months and would mostly be bloody but sometimes yellow like colostrum and more recently clear. It has definitely calmed down in the last 3 months but still there at times. I had an ultrasound in february which was clear and another 4 weeks ago, also clear (I am 30 so a mammogram wouldn’t be suitable due to density of breast tissue). My consultant suggested I have a full duct excision to take a closer look at my ducts, I had this on monday and now nervously awaiting results although he did say all looked normal to the naked eye. Have any of you had similar experiences and what were your results? I don’t mind hearing any stories that didn’t turn out to be benign as I really want to know what I could be dealing with. I should add I am a mother of two children aged 5 and 3 and breast fed both with no issues.
