am on 3rd cycle of capecitabine and after first cycle all exterior lumps shrunk and have now virtually gone ! but have found 2 small nodules above mx area how can it be working but not (if that makes sense) am also very anxious about my scans next week what if it hasnt worked internally,damn this bloody disease !!! hugs to all xxx

I was told that this can happen because Chemo has to travel through the blood supply to get to all areas and it can’t get through scar tissue like a mx scar. Therefore if cancer cells have developed there the Chemo can’t reach it. But as you say it can be working everywhere else. I wonder if there is any topical cream than can be applied? Just a thought.
