Had lumpectomy on 8th June . Got results bigger than they thought margins not enough on one side and trace of Colin as we call it as daughter doesn’t like the word cancer in lymph nodes. So another op planned tomorrow morning to widen margin and to remove more lymph nodes. Anyone else had this ?
Hi A,many many ladies on the forum have had to have further surgery to get clear margins and lymph node clearance ,it’s depressing having to have further surgery but at lest it will get rid of "Colin " eh?If you repost your colmrntx in the surgery section you may get some more responses .Good luck for tomorow.Jill.

Click on the Breast cancer care forum logo which takes you to the menu ,then go to the "going through treatment " section and there is a section called surgery .People will respond to your post wherever you put it so don’t worry.

Anyone welcome no matter where you . ladies here go on US site for info/support .Obviously some of the issues relating to treatment and timescales may be a little different dependent on where you are but basically we are all in it together !Where are you ?
