3 lumps and worried...

hiya, i just tried to post this and lost a VERY long post :frowning:

Basically went to the gp last week with a single lump on right side of right boob, about the size of a malteser, lump is firm, but not hard, and is sore, but mainly as I think I’ve been prodding it.

since initial referral I have since found a very hard pea sized lump on left breast around an inch above my nipple, and also a lump under my left arm - this feels like a swollen gland in texture, and is slightly bigger than the original lump I found.

I wasn’t worried when it was just one lump, but with each new one my fear level has increased, and today my GP upgraded me to an uregnt referral - she has asked that I am offered any cancellations they get - I’m grateful, but now terrified that this is not a good sign.

Has anyone else had experience of multiple lumps in this way?

any thoughts, or opinions would be very much appreciated, and if my last post appears - I applogoise for being repetetive!

hi

i am sorry to hear about your lump. i had a large 4cm lump in my breast and i was terrified. the waiting for the appointment, which like yours was classed as urgent was horrific - my mind was up to all sorts of tricks.

i am pleased to say it was a cyst which was drained there and then. however within 3 days it had filled and i now have another in my right breast at least 2cm. i was told after the mamography and the scan that i had several so it is possible to have several lumps at once and them be nothing.

other more experienced people on the forum will reply to your email soon i am sure.

lots of love
