5 yrs tamoxifen

hello all its been a while since i was on here

ive now been on tamoxifen for 5 yrs and am waiting consultants appointment.

i just wondered what the latest advice is re taking tam for 10 yrs?

how do they decide if its to your advantage, or is it postcode lottery?

also if i stop will periods return im 48

I am recently diagnosed and have been told I will need to take Tamoxifen for 10 years. I am age 50 and classed as post menopausal as I had a hysterectomy in 2010. Will be interesting if they increase the 5 years to 10 for ladies finishing the 5 years.
