When I was first diagnosed and a bit confused, I found being able to use the email a nurse service fantastic. I’d used it after being told I had a fibroid and all my results came back clear. Then an aggressive cancer was found when I went for the routine fibroid op. I was pointed in the right direction about what questions I should be asking the surgeon and breast care nurse as to how things could have happened like this. Being told I was fine and didn’t have cancer, then 4 weeks later finding out I did have cancer was dreadful. This site was a great source of help and info for me, and all the leaflets I was give by my BCN from the site were presented in clear and calm terms. I still keep everything in a health file for reference even though I was diagnosed over 4 years ago now.
Yes this site has been great for so many of us. Only here now and then these days three years on, but when I have wobbly moments here I am again! Many thanks love Alice.
