A Couple of Bics and Hair has gone Isn’t amazing at how we adapt…over the last couple of weeks, my hair has been slowly getting thinner and thinner…I had started ‘brushing’ my hair with the brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner on full blast - hair went straight up the tube and I didn;t need to see it all…vacuumed by bedtime turban and that was it…
However, there appears to be about 10 per cent of my hair that wasn’t going to shift…I had not seen myself without hair as I had all mirrors upstairs removed and only ventured in front of the glass when headgear in place. My hairdressing friend had offered to give me a no. 1 but the thought of letting someone else see what I hadn’t looked at myself appalled me.
However, tonight in the bath I felt the scalp needed a little cream and I realised that with the hair that would end up with an almighty mess. Got a Bic and called in the other half (after warning) and he grabbed another Bic and we got rid of it all. Covered scalp in lovely Aloe Vera cream and let it soak in…and HOW MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE IS MY WIG NOW…Anyone daft as me take heed, it is much better when it has all gone…I can look in the mirror now…

How I can empathise with your post. Most of my hair has gone except for that last 10% (although I think it’s not long for this world. I have cut it short but can’t bring myself to get the razor out

My hair has been clippered off too.
Husband, daughter and son, all thought I should get rid of it as it was falling out all over the blinkin place.
So after a lovely Father’s Day dinner, and quite a few glasses of champagne, they took turns in cutting it off and clipping it down to 6mm.
I look like a very old GI Jane now!

Me too! Hi ladies,
just wanted to say me too!! My hair all but fell out a couple of days after my 2nd epi. Although OH had already shaved it off for me my head got sooooo sore. What a relief when it all finally came out, even if I did have to bend over the bath with the shower attachment on the go for the best part of 20 mins to get rid! Anyway, it appears I have some stubborn little blighters who were having none of it and were determined to stay put! I was starting to look like an ugly duckling with this fluff covering part of my scalp so OH got the razor out one last time and off it came.
Still no stunner but looking and feeling much better now! Don’t wanna get ahead of myself but already getting excited about what its gonna look like when it grows back. Hoping it doesn’t come back grey but sure I’m in no postion to complain if it does!
