A small dimple and prominent veins.

Hi

this is my first post on the site. I’m 45 yrs old and about three weeks ago I noticed a small dimple on the inner, lower aspect of my left breast, only visible when I raise my arm above my head. Despite daily prodding I have not found a lump either in the brest or under my arms. I also noticed about a month ago that the veins in the same breast have become more prominent, much more so by the end of the day. Just wondered if anyone else had had similar symptoms?
I went to my GP who has referred me to the local breast clinic with a consultant breast surgeon for further evaluation. So just waiting to attend next Thursday 7th March.
I’d be interested to hear from anyone with a similar situation, as I’m a bit worried. I’ve only told one friend and my husband as I don’t want to worry friends and family unnecessarily.
