Hi all anyone out there help me ? has anyone experience a really sting burning lady bits since taking Tamoxifen ??? Its driving me mad ?
Yes afraid so, I thought it was recurring thrush but then read on here that it is cos of the depletion of eostrogen. Have been to GP’s and got some Replens which help enormously but do have unfortunate side effects relating to sex.
As my OH is away alot I use it when he’s not going to be home for a week or so then the good effects out weigh the issues it causes.
You can also get oestrogen creams depending on if your GP or onc is happy to prescribe them.
Best bet is to go and talk it over with your GP, you don’t have to put up with it and it can get very uncomfortable.

I nearly made my self bleed last night it was that irritating and swollen

Hi maz & AJ. Not burning but dryness which brought on thrush. I too am using replens but don’t notice any difference apart from on the day I use it. (3 times week).
I think I may have a prolapse too but really don’t want to have my bits prodded, and as sex is pretty well none existent, it’s not a prob. Just noticed it when inserting replens (charming subject I’m sure!)
AJ can I ask are your ‘issues’ with replens a type os discharge? I could describe but don’t want to offend anyone!
