A very interesting take on this weeks food related scare

I came across this Blog…

junkfoodscience.blogspot.com/2007/11/jfs-exclusive-whats-evidence-cancers.html

and found it extremely interesting . I then looked round the site and found this…

junkfoodscience.blogspot.com/2007/10/pick-up-sticks-latest-breast-cancer.html

which again makes interesting reading.

Settle down with the refreshment of your choice and read on. Hopefully it will put many peoples minds at ease-or at least provide food for thought .

Thanks for posting the links gosh they are rather complicated, or maybe its because its late and i have had 2 glasses of wine and a handful of pringles very fattening but so what!!!
I will read them again tomorrow.

My initial thought though was I wonder how much money goes into all these studies and from what i can gather from them nothing is really found that is helpful.

Yes thanks for these links.

A much shorter and easier to read piece on the same theme was in the Guardian yesterday by Mark Lawson. He says: "Keen for publicity and funding, research gropups now treat individual drinks and foods as if they were nutritional Osama Bin Ladens, while the truth is that the risk of developing cancer is a complex equation of genetics, environment, lifestyle and plain bad luck.’ (Sorry haven’t got the web link to hand.)

Back to the bacon butties.
