I was diagnosed last monday and am due to have a wired sentinal lymph biospy later this month then radiotheraphy in the new year. This all came about through my routine 50 mammogram. Can anyone offer any advice and support please. xxx Lambie
Hi Lambie, so sorry u have to join us but welcome. What have they said to u, are u having a lumpectomy or mastectomy as well as the sentinal node biopsy? The biopsy is usually done at the same time. Let us know a few more details & it’ll be easier to advise u. I had a lymph node biopsy done at the same time as my lumpectomy & i recovered quite quickly from the op. wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be.
It’s a horrible time, waiting for ops & results etc but this forum is brilliant for answers to any query or worry u may have.x

Sorry that you have received such horrible news. I too have had the same news and actually had the op yesterday…the same one that you are having. Did the hospital give you much information? Mine gave me a file which had tuns of info in it. Anyway, I can’t offer much by way of knowledge as I am new to this too, but please accept my hugs and know that the people on here are absolutely excellent.
