Not doing too good here 
Had first tax a week ago and herceptin 5 days ago. Called my team yesterday as really having awful stomach cramps and bloating as soon as I eat or drink. They seemed to think it was constipation however have had the trots all night and still cramping - like labour pains!!
Doesn’t sound like constipation to me, any tips or suggestions? ThoughtI’d be feeling a bit better by now.
Hi 1234. Sorry that you have had this too. I found on Tax that on about day 6 I had exactly the same thing which lasted a day or two then resolved. It happened with each cycle and was really painful at the time, didn’t seem so bad once I knew what to expect, made sure I didn’t make plans to go out on those days tho. Hi, I’ve had 3 lots of Fec n last Mon had 1st Herceptin n Tues had Docetaxel, my stomach had been swollen since starting treatment anyway but a few days after last weeks stuff I became huge n with pains in tum day n night and by Monday had chronic upset tum! Ended up going to A&E and was admitted! I only got discharged today! They seem to think a bad reaction to last chemo, even though I’ve still got pains n upset tum I know I’m constipated inside? My tum is huge now n hard! Was never ever like this and have put on over a stone in weight! Is this really normal? Angie
Hi, had last Docetaxel on Fri n feel awful, very tender gassy tum n very swollen! I’m so achy too as think the Herseptin injections do this. Hardly moved from bed/sofa this week! Grr! Angie x
