Abnormally large Lymph node in arm?

Hi everyone,

 

im hoping someone out there can give me a it of advise/support. I went to the breast clinic yesterday as I found a lump in my breast and my armpit. Upon ultrasound there were no lumps to be found in my breasts but do have a large 3cm lymph node up. Drs seemed very concerned so they did a core biopsy there and then. When I had my consultation after with the breast surgeon and Macmillan cancer nurse they couldn’t give me any answers other than it may be serious ie still breast cancer or lymphoma or my body fighting off an infection. Now my mind is going wild with all sorts. I feel fine other than constantly tired but I put that down to running around after 2 small children day & night. Can anyone help please? I feel like I’m going crazy over analysing everything now. I have to wait another week till my appointment next Thursday. I’m just hoping they can inform me of what’s going on ?.

Hi Kess, my appointment was ok. It’s nothing breast related which is good as there is no sign of cancer. The Dr has sent my biopsy off to a specialist to check for Lymphoma :frowning: I don’t get my results back for 2 weeks. Thanks for asking x

Hi I was just wondering how you got on? I’m in similar situation at the moment large lump in armpit. Waiting on appointment at breast clinic.xx

My app is Tuesday at 10. I have a feeling I won’t be as lucky my whole boob has changed. Fingers crossed its just anexiety.xx

Wishing you good luck with your results. I am waiting too (could be this week - if all clear) otherwise next week.

You are a young mother and the younger you are, then at least statistically, the more likely you are to be ok, I believe xx
