I had wide local excision 14th dec just had post op results recommended chemo then radio.Appt this week with oncologist to discuss treatment.

Welcome to the forums and I am sorry you are joining the club that no-one chooses to join. You will get a lot of support from others in a similar situation though.
I suggest you have a look at the February Valentines which is a thread for those starting chemo in February, there are lots of people already on the thread supporting each other as they start their treatment.

Hi, I was diagnosed on 13 dec and had the lump removed on 19th dec. Have today (29/1/13) started my 1st chemo (FEC), have another 5 to go, then 4 weeks of radio, then hormone therapy. If you want to chat, let me know

Hello Krags I am waitimg to start chemo 15feb,pre assess 13th feb.Like you I will have 6x FEC then 3wks radio.I am already started on Letrozole.Had two lumpsa removed 14th dec,2 lymph nodes tested and clear.Invasive to breast tissue and vascular area hence recommended chemo course.Good Luck with yours.How do you feel after the first dose?
