aching on tamoxifen and zoladex

ive been on tamoxifen and zoladex for just over a year. a month ago i change from taking the tamoxifen in the morning to night. but i seem to ache a lot more towards the end of the day. does anybody ache being on tamoxifen. iam only 41 but some days feel 90. thanks gaynor

Hi Gaynor - I have been on Tamoxifen for over a year now and have terrible joint pain especially in knees and hands. Had some moderate arthritis in right knee before dx but my left one is the main problem now. Joint pain is not listed as a se of tamoxifen but there are too many ladies who are suffering for it to be coincidence!! Marli xx

I’m on Tamoxifen & Zoladex and often get cramps in my lower legs and feet at night, which I never got before I started taking those drugs. But I feel that the protection I’m getting from them is worth it.

thanks ladies. i too get cramp when iam in bed at night. my muscle locks at the back of my leg. somtimes i think it all in my head. so it nice to no other ladies are going through the same. thanks again. gaynor xxx
