Hi all, could you give me some advice i have a multi nodular thyroid which was discovered just after my diagnosis of breast cancer last year. Although it has been monitored the doctor says its not cancer, i am due to see him again soon and worry that as he hasn’t done a biopsy etc how does he know its not cancerous. Part of me says insist that they do something and the scared part of me says no, he did say that if it got bigger and more painful i could have it removed (which it has) but it seems that he is asking me not advising me what is the best. I take arimidex and worry how this will effect my medication etc if i have it removed they all seem very vague i need some one to say this is what we will do. Although my family know about this problem i haven’t told them about my worries and it getting bigger as i don’t want to worry them again, so any advice would be great.
