Hi all,
I haven’t been on the site for ages as I was haring round like a mad thing trying to get the house organised before I went in for this op in the hope that things would run as smoothly as possible for my son doing his GCSEs and middle daughter doing A levels. My timing was always awful!
Anyway I am now home having had the op on 11th June, came home on Tuesday and have improved dramatically ever since. However I am filling up with blood/fluid on my back, I went back on Thursday to see my surgeon who stuck a needle in it to drain it and managed to get some out rather slowly but my question is this…is it really not supposed to hurt because this was really painful, I yelled out and I don’t think I’m a wimp at all so could it be that my lovely surgeon is not very good at doing it? I have to go back on Monday as it has filled up again and I’m told better out than in but not exactly looking forward to it…is it just me? Am I a wimp after all?
Your experiences would be appreciated.
lots of love
