i felt my breasts a few days ago and thought i could feel something odd…is going to see my doctor my only option, could i ask a nurse to look? Or can i drop into one of the mobile clinics?
Jem, I am not entirely sure, but expect that you require a doctor referral for the breast clinic (where they will do the various tests). My only advise is to make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible. It is scary, but delaying it will not help at all. In my case, my own imagination and fears were worse than the reality.

Just want to reiterate what Oscarbaily has said. You should definitely see your GP so that he/she can decide whether you need a referral. Try and get an appt soon otherwise you will drive yourself mad worrying!
