Hi all
I am three days post lumpectomy and SNB. I have come up in what looks like pea size hives all the way down my arm and a red rash around my neck. It is not incredibly itchy, but I can feel it.
Has anyone else experienced this

No, I’d contact your BCN sounds like a reaction to something. If it’s worse a trip to your local A & E might be in order. Or did they give you ward numbers to ring at weekends?

The doctor thinks it is an allergic reaction to something. He has given me some stronger anti histamines than I was already taking and asked me to monitor.
I will see how it all goes xxx

Oh Rach, that’s a bit pants! Sorry to hear you’re having extra discomfort!
Perhaps it it was the blue dye, if you had that. My consultant wouldn’t let them use it because I have food intolerances and he was concerned I might have that kind of reaction to it. Just a suggestion, Don’t know whether there’s any way they could tell now. Hope the tablets are working. Xxx
