Perhaps I should have read this thread before going out last night. I have been on Tamoxifen since the start of April, but not really drunk since until last night. I think I will blame the tablets rather than the fact that I had rather too many glasses of wine, for the fact that I feel rather fragile today. On the plus side it was a really good night

i am new here and noticed the word ALCOHOL so had to join in lol
i have been on tomoxifen since sept 2010 and i havent had issues with drinking it
its the only thing that keeps me going
i get low sometimes and a little snappy and i put that down to the tomox

I have been on Tamoxifen for a month and had my first glass of wine on Friday, just had 1 small one, then on Saturday had 2 (little ones) and tonight had 1 medium size …and feel all bloated and hot flushes and back of head and neck aches, so having water as usual again!!! Don’t know if it is the Tamoxifen or psychological.
But safer on water me thinks, no side effects AT ALL!

Hey ladies I’ve been on tamoxifen since 2013 just recently began drinking wine since 1980s and find that in addition to the weight gain and hot flashes I have a new friend heartburn. She must really like me Bc she comes around all day everyday. Last check up was clean so no worries but probably related to the alcohol.
