Had my Diep on 24th Sept though had a few problems afterwards followed by an infection so had to spend 13 days in hospital. I’m pleased with the end result though the recon side is bigger and may need some lipo to reduce it in a few months time.
Am probably doing far more than I should be doing around the house in the morning but making sure I rest in between and have a proper ‘lunch hour’ at home. My docs recommended cycling shorts by the way which is what I am wearing constantly and they are pretty comfy. Also wearing M&S Sports bra and to be honest ‘normal’ bras as they aren’t underwired and feel ok - nurse said that was fine as long as they comfy.
I don’t have any dressings on - wounds seem to be healing ok - and back to the hosp today for a check of these. Debs in Glasgow if you read this how did you get on?
