Am I worrying about nothing?

Thank you all so much, I feel as though the world has lifted from my shoulders.

interestingly, and perhaps we don’t think enough about the ‘better half’, my husband has been so worried that he has actually made himself ill! He managed to develop the most appalling migraine and has spent the last 24hrs in bed unable to move, (apart from the vomitting)! The last time he had one like this was when we moved, they are definately stress related - a pity we can’t celebrate together but he clearly struggled in his own way just as much as I did to cope with the waiting for results.

Ann, Mum is not doing too well, she had a biopsy today for lung cancer as they have discovered a ‘shadow’ on her lung which is not related to previous lung problems or scar tissue. Unfortunately the trauma of sedation and the procedure has led to another bleed. Looking on the bright side, she is s strong old cookie, and has been through worse and come back so we are all crossing fingers! For the record, she is quite amazing, she started struggling with Cancer at 34 with ovarian, has had breast (didn’t know about this until last week), as well as now her 3rd stroke with a 3 month stint in ICU with total organ failure after a minor surgical procedure (day case supposedly) a couple of years ago - she doesn’t do things quietly, refuses to make any compromises with her lifestyle (so even in hosptial she will only drink from a china cup, won’t touch hospital food etc.), annoying and difficult it may be but my goodness, one way or another she seems to come through it all!

Anyway, many thanks again, and best wishes to you all!

Sally
