I’m 36 years old, I was diagnosed as having a fibroadenoma 3 years ago, and since have not really thought much about it, except for when getting the odd random bouts of shooting pain right through my breast and settling in the lump (usually occurs randomly for a few days then goes away again). But have recently over the last week noticed dull ache and discomfort in my armpit.
The only other issue I have is with my weight being less than it was 3 years ago I struggle to know whether the lump has grown or not as when I found it I would have difficulty locating it but now it’s easy to pinpoint.
Should I get it re-checked? I haven’t had a followup appointment since, and am also unsure if my notes have actually caught up with me having moved shortly after getting the all clear letter.
