Feeling miserable. Had my lumpectomy yesterday afternoon, but still feeling very light headed, and slightly feverish. When should I feel concerned.
A lot of pain in the breast. My boobs are big so I find myself trying to support the sore one. It reminds me of a papaya that’s been scraped out from the inside, and nipple puckered. Had a bad reaction to Tramadol in my IV, and not had many pain killers since. I suppose I should be asking one of the nurses.

Cathy firstly a big hug x. I had mine Tuesday as you know and yesterday was still tired and slept for 3 hours in the afternoon. I have Codine and paracetamol for pain relief but do not feel feverish x if in doubt call nhs helpline xx

Yes absolutely ask the nurses that is what they are there for
I know when I had my op later that evening i felt soooo cold, it will take a good few days for the initial effects of the anaesthetic to wear off

Hi, thanks. I do have a thermometer and the temp was 37.7. I decided if it got to 38 I would phone, but the codeine seems to have brought it down. I am feling a bit better now, and am taking tablets. I think all the stories about no pain made me expect the same.
Blue pee was gone lastnight, already. will tell you in Sept about the poo, if it happens by then!!

Don’t want to put a downer on you whilst your flying lol but coedine has made me constipated x just be aware xx the hills are alive with the round of mooooosssdiiiicccc ?
