I have been on anaztrozole for approximately 8 months. In the last few weeks I can hardly bend my thumb and when sleeping trying to straighten my arms is a killer. Also my knees feel like they are going. Have called the breast care team who have said its probably the anaztrozole but I am thinking of stopping or taking a break as I cant deal with this on a daily basis.
You could always try another brand.
They said they would all really be the same. Looking into herbal stuff. As honestly getting me down and affecting work.
Definitely try a different brand.
I did wonder if some people were just more sensitive than others when I’ve read this previously. Until I started Exemestane. I was going really well on a brand called Glenmark. Pharmacy changed it to Morningside, and within two weeks could barely open my fingers, and ankle pain at another level. Asked for a new prescription and refused to take Morningside again, and now all is reasonably well.
