Had my 5th since diagnosis today, it surprisingly really brought back the true horror of what I have been through. Then went on to have a lovely day with my beautiful children and friends in the local park followed by 2 Krispy Kremes and a walk through the bluebell woods near where I live. Very humbled and grateful that I have so far being NED but always realistically on a knife edge.
Big hugs to you all especially those currently in treatment.

Congratulations on getting this far and being NED. I’m 2 1/2 years post diagnosis and finished Herceptin about a year ago. Like you I’m grateful to be NED and I find I really appreciate the simple things in my life, such as walking in the park. I use a lot of diversion tactics to keep myself occupied and thankfully I’m able to sleep soundly at night - this time last year I was in a repetitive pattern of disturbed sleep and nightmares about illness.
