Any triple negative survivors out there?

Hi Ann
I still pop on from time to time. Back to work now three days so dont have as much time on my hands as before . Good in one way as it stops my mind going to the dark side. I hope the docetaxol goes ok. xxx

Pam Iā€™m so scared I feel sick with worry xxx

Mammogram done, I cried as soon as I got there and all the way through it. Xx

Oh Suzanne, itā€™s done now. Hang on in there. Everything crossed for good news.

Bernadette I wrote a long reply yesterday to your comment (twice) but I see neither has appeared on the thread. Maybe because I included a link. Will try again later as I have to find the link again.

Hi, Iā€™ve had a call from my breast nurse today to say they want further images of my other boob as a something as shown on mammogram, she said it may be because I moved and thatā€™s caused a shadow or it may be a cyst, as I can imagine I am beside myself with worry!!!

I am from NYā€¦diagnosed triple negative in August/2015. I had double mastectomy with 8 rounds of chemo. I just did my breast reconstruction but fear recurrence. I was wondering how does going for Vitamin C infusion. Do I have to live there or need a doctor or can I just go and request it?

Hi Pam,
My surgeon told me that itā€™s important to keep vit d levels within range. I actually take quite a high dose - canā€™t remember how much but itā€™s a little bottle in liquid form by a make called biocare (Iā€™m sure you can find online) and i take their recommended daily dose. I get my levels checked each year at the GP - I asked them for this - itā€™s important of course not to go over the recommended nhs levels too as this can be toxic. While my levels have been good ever since I started supplementing they have yet to go over. Good luck.
