Anyone attending Royal Marsden In Sutton ??

Hi Ive just had WLE and Sentinal node 3 lymph removed and 2 cancers on 11th April. Gor my post op appointment 25th April to see whats next. Just wondered if anyone same time same place ?? x

Hi butterfly52,sorry you’v had to join us :frowning: but you will find much support from all the lovely people on here.
i put a link below to a thread on here of women who are being treated at the Marsden in Sutton,they are probably a bit ahead of you with treatment but i’m sure they will make you welcome.
I was treated at the Marsden in Sutton and the DR’s and nurses there are wonderful.

I was at RM yesterday as a day patient to have a portacath fitted, and also had axillary disection 5 weeks ago.Had the same lovely nurses both times.

Im so sorry to hear you have found yourself in this dreadful situation, I am under the RM Sutton at the moment, I was DX with grade 3 IDC 3/20 Lymph nodes affected on 21st Feb, My 49th Birthday !! I had WLE and node clearance on 27th Feb then chemo started 27th March, I had 2nd dose of FEC-T on Wednesday, I can honelstly say that with RM you are in great hands, the staff are brilliant, the Surgeon, Oncologist everyone has been lovely … If you need any advise or want to chat please feel free to post or message me anytime, Good luck with your treatment, keep in touch

Hi Butterfly,
So sorry for your news.
I was at the RM yesterday morning for my first appointment with the surgeon and nurse to talk about the op and the treatment. Have been diagnosed with BC on 4th April, 30mm lump, operation on 4th May (WLE + SLNB), radiotherapy and tamoxifen for 5 years if everything goes according to plan!

hi im being treated at the r m sutton im a sec lady but am having chemo there my next visit tue i never had my mx there but am so glad im being treated there now pm if you want tc laura xx

I hope everyone ok. Ive lost all my old messages and contacts and have managed to find some of you but not all . Please message me if we have spoken. J x I start my chemo on 31st May now.
