Would love to hear from any East Londoners?

Hi, I’m being treated at Homerton but live Bakers Arms. Diagnosed end of May. had mx and anc, now waiting for onc appt on thurs.

Anyone else in East London?
If there was a group of us, perhaps we could meet up one day for coffee or lunch?
Or perhaps we could join with another London group?

Hi all, I’m based in Hackney and having treatment at Barts, I’ve just had 4th dose of 6 chemo - FEC-T then rads after that. Very happy to meet up with fellow east Londoners

I’m east end, well ish, rainham Essex here so anyone else being treated Queens/ king George’s ?

I would be up for it. Just had my first FEC-T Barts on Friday so still trying to work out how it’s gonna hit SE wise…Amanda

Hi Amanda , we are about the same stage I think, I had first session of FEC-T at queens Romford a week ago, SE so far pretty manageable felt a bit crap on days 4 and 5 but since then felt a bit better each day, I live in Rainham Essex . I’m guessing your more near London, originally I’m an east London girl myself born in bow brought up in poplar, hope your SE are minimal x

Hi Pollyanne, yeh I’m in leytonstone area. SE not so bad so far. A bit agitated and poor sleep, which I hope was the steroids, now stopped…Amanda

Hi everyone, I live in Hackney, had my surgery in the Homerton and have just finished chemo at Barts.  I had 3 x FEC and then 2 Taxol, didn’t have the final one as I’ve got some nerve damage.  I’ve got my planning meeting for Rads tomorrow, and expect I’ll be having my 2 weeks of rads starting Monday.  If anyone else is there at the same time perhaps we could meet?
