forgot to mention have gcsf injections for 6 days after and now on 10 days routine antibiotics.
Hi,
Yes I definitely think my brain doesn’t work so well and I keep forgetting words or what I am doing. I have been filling in a diary for a research student about effects of chemo. I feel it was the FEC that did it as I was totally unable to concentrate for the first 7-10 days after FEC, improved but not quite back to normal afterwards. Didn’t get that effect with TAX, but still some dopeyness remains.

commonly known as “chemo brain” its like trying to think through a thick fog. I know exactly what you’re talking about. It will pass though

thankyou both but did u get headachy with it…
I had 6x FEC and I did feel a bit headachey on chemo day and sometimes for a couple of days after. Once the “fog” lifted I was able to think more clearly. I would say if you are overly concerned about how you feel then discuss it with your oncologist so they can put your mind at rest.
