Anyone else on Lithium?

Hello everyone,
Does anyone else take lithium for bi-polar depression? I have had this condition since age 20 which is 32 years ago. The condition has been stable for many years and I have always managed to work and live as normal a life as possible. My consultant is not concerned about it and my lithium levels are stable . I’m starting FEC on november18th. There does’nt seem to be much information on the web about any interactions. I worry about the effect on the kidneys (I have had a raised creatinine x 2 in the past) and of course if I get diarrhoea i’d have to stop the lithium. I do drink alot of water as a rule which I’ll continue to do.
.Anyone else been through Chemo while on Lithium ? I’d appreciate some info and a chat about it.

Thankyou for the link. I am actually a registerd nurse myself .
I thought it might be helpful to get feedback from people a little in the same boat as myself and hear their experiences of lithium and chemo from the layman point of view.
