I,ve now been on chemo for 2.5 years with about a 6 months break a year ago.
My oncologist has told me that due to the aggressive nature of my cancer, they cannot cure it but at the moment are trying to control and contain it.
He has said that without chemo I will be dead in 6 months and that I will have to have chemo for the rest of my life.
Is there anyone else in a similar situation?

Had the left breast removed and had a recon and a year later the cancer returned and had half of the recon removed.
About 4 months ago lump was removed from the right side and came back positive.
Around Christmas time I was on Xeloda, which gave me thrombosis. I was off the chemo for about a month, in which time it returned in the left breast area.
