yes i have had a mastomey on 16 sept 08 i had my third chemo last friday at christie,s coping ok at the moment all my hair has gone now so just feeling sorry for myself at the moment this computer stuff is all new to me and i called to tameside drop in today and they told me to try this site out so i am

I live a bit south of you (Leek), but am having chemo at Christies too.
I’ve had 4 EC and 2 taxotere so far, with taxotere number three next week, but because I already had 2 tumours and lymph node involvement I’ve had the chemo first, and won’t have my mastectomy until January 09. I lost all my hair quite quickly, although it has started to grow back - but I think the taxotere may make it fall out again. I find some of the effects of chemo quite bizzare - like hair on my head growing back whilst eyebrows and eyelashes are continuing to fall out. Am becoming an expert at pencilling in eyebrows now! I also have three school age children.

I live in Shaw near Oldham, have just had my 3rd FEC, I have a young daughter, and like you I have no hair!
