Hi Sandra,
I live in Eton Wick. Sorry I meant to say I have Herceptin every third Wednesday, I had my chemo at King Edward in 2005/6, I quite like the Eden unit at WPH, nurses (Anita, Rebecca etc.) are really great. Coffee would be nice.

Hi Sandra,
Just a quick outline, I first had bc in 1999, tried twice to remove cancer, DCIS, but ended having mastectomy in Dec. 1999 with no other treatment. Discharged after 5 years then about 6 months later had recurrence along scar line, scans showed no secondaries, had more surgery then 4 x fec and 4 x tax, 15 rads followed by Herceptin. I have 2 sons, 34 & 24 (nearly) but no grandchildren yet. I work at Eton College in ‘tuck shop’ almost full time but get all school holidays off, due back to work next week.
I found chemo a trial especially tax., didn’t lose my hair used cold cap all through. Herceptin has been very easy for me, have been able to work all through so far! How are you coping?

hi jan
feel better now chemo is over.i am an area manager for a cleaning company have been with them for 15 years
not looking forward to monday start a new contract in beaconsfield at 5am,
im also having my grandaughters for the weekend think that will take my mind off monday am and the dreaded herceptin

Hi Sandra,
my next herceptin is sept. 10th, have you got to hang around with your first dose, I did, Charmaine would not let me go until 4.30. Its better now they can put it through over 30 mins. instead of 90mins. Anyway catch up with you later, probably on tomorrow night. Good night,
Jan x
