Anyone in Bristol starting or just started chemo?

Any ladies in the 30-50 age group in Bristol started or recently started chemo. I started on 26th August and think it would be nice to start a little group of local ladies who can share experiences and maybe meet up sometime. I know there is already a group on here in Bristol but they all seem to have been going thru it for a while and I think most have secondaries. (I could be wrong)

Hi Buzzy,

Good for you for trying to start a group in Bristol. You are right there is already a group in Bristol it is for primaries & secondaries, some of us are still going through some kind of ttreatment, others not - you would be very welcome to join us, but if you want to start your own group, I’m sure we can support you in some way, if you’d like us to, and hopefully you can learn from some of our more dreadful mistakes.

We had the same problem. The other group is meeting this Friday at Browns in Bristol (under the name of Brown - stunningly original) - unfortunately I cannot make it.

Thanks Celeste but I have my second chemo on Thursday so I doubt I’ll feel like going out on Friday. Maybe next time.

I’m at the BRI but having treatment at home as part of a pilot scheme. So much better than sitting in that stuffy hospital!
