I have just joined as I was only diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. I am finding it very difficult as I am a widow and my husband passed away in July 2007 with sarcoma (a rare cancer of the soft tissue). I can’t believe this is happening to me and I am very scared. I am just 48 and moved to Hillindgon from Cheltenham in February this year to begin a new life with my boyfriend who I met last August. I have been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Breast cancer which is multi-focal and the largest tumor is 17mm. It is currently grade 1/2, stage 1 to be confirmed after op. I have already had a bone scan, CT scan and MRI and there are no metatases.
I am having a mx and sentinal node biopsy next Monday 4 Oct. I would love to hear from anyone close by. Thanks
