Im being treat at T.Wells K&S but live just over the border in east sussex! BC grade 3, had ops and now underway with chemo.

I was dx in June last year and I live about 8 miles from Tunbridge Wells. I’m surprised you are having treatment at the Kent & Sussex hosp, as I thought all the breast cancer treatment in this area is done at the Peggy Wood Centre in Maidstone Hospital. I had my op at The Sommerfield and the rads at Maidstone. Hope all goes well for you.

I live in Crowborough, about 7 miles from tunbridge wells. They have a small satellite chemo unit in K&S and managed to fit me in as I couldnt face the awful journey from Crowborough to Maidstone! I had to wait an extra week to start the treatment but as I ended up going in for a second op to increase the safety margins it worked out well. They can only treat 8 patients at a time so I was really lucky but they wont be able to do radio there next year so will have to travel to Maidstone daily for that for 6 weeks but will face that when the time comes!
