Anyone in South Manchester/Wythenshawe/Airport area

I was diagnosed in July last year, had surgery in August, started chemo in September, will be having day one of my third dose of CMF next Wednesday 11th Feb.
Just wondered if there was anyone living in the above areas who is going through similar and would like to meet up for a coffee and a chat, I have really struggled to find support groups in the area and would like to meet up with others in the same position.

Hi Gilly,

I don’t actually live in south Manchester/Wythenshaw, but do travel through there regularly - will be doing so every day from Feb 19th once my radiotherapy starts! I was diagnosed in June last year, but have followed a different order of treatment from you. I started with chemo (last one on December 17th - hurrah!), then had a mastectomy and node clearance 3 weeks ago, and start radiotherapy in just under 2 weeks time. I live in North Staffordshire, but will have my rads at the Christie. Happy to chat,

Julie
