Ive been recently diagnosed with Invasive bc.
So far have had lymph node removal and reconstruction mx.
My chemo will be starting very soon.
I am er/pr - and her2+++
It would be lovely to meet similar women/men in the same situation for coffee and a chat locally.
I am a Mum of 12 and 13 year olds.
Have lots of lovely friends but of course they really don’t know what i’m going through no matter how hard they try.

my active treatment has now finished after WLE, ANC, chemo rand rads now on tamoxifen for 5 years oh the joys, Im under the RM at sutton , always up for tea and cake

you ssid w/c 11th feb.I just got my chemo date in the post its the 15th herceptin on the 14th and other bits so i am free on 11th but only that day of the week.
NNo wirries if it doesnt tie in with others its tricky isn’t it i can catch up anothrr timd.
anyway keep ys posted.

Oooh can I come please ? I work in the afternoon so It would need to be am for me if possible , I do love cake coffee and a natter, not particulary in that order I can do Banstead, sutton or anywhere local really xx
Banstead would be good as you all said, lots of coffee shops, not sure which is nicest one though? Ive only really been in the chains and Cafe Italia, but there is another one opposite Waitrose isnt there?
What should we do? Go ahead on the 11th as thats when Lavendersun can make it (and its her thread) or postpone until a date when we can all make it, as Caroline60 cant do the 11th ??
Hi all, please dont rechedule. I can catch up with you all for the next coffe and cake day. I have so many appointments I need to attend as in the Peresehone Trial.
Its all so tricky isnt it to find a date when we are all free what with appointments etc.
Barb i can only make the 11th but if many others can make snither date dont worry i,ll join you all another time.

Hi lavendersun, how are you doing? Just read you have been given your start date.
Im at the very startof trial so bloods taken and had echocardiogram. I am now awaiting the randomisation ie 6 or 12 months of herceptin.
I have chemo on Monday - trying to eat as much greens as possible + drinking loads of beetroot juice.

I can do 11th or 19th also if its morning , Its my one year anniversary - Today 1 year ago I found my lump and the rollercoaster began
