Hi i’m a 37 mum of one diagnosed with breast cancer 2.5yrs ago. I’m looking for somebody out there who is in a similar position or futher on who is willing to meet for coffee. I’m still trying to get my head round all of this & am constantly scared. Am currently being treated for depression secondary to the diagnoses. Would really like to meet with someone who has come through the other side who I can chat to & who may be able to offer me some advice.
Hopefully there is someome out there.xx

Hi Woodentop,
I’ve recently joined this site after just finishing my treatment for breast cancer, I am only 21 but i hope i can help you in any way possible. I was diagonsed august last year with breast cancer and it turned out to be grade 3 and it had spread. I have had a mastecomy but after multiple operations have had to have my implant out due to my body rejecting the implant, they would of kept the implant in longer to let it settle but they needed to get me into chemo ASAP. By November i was starting my first dose of FEC-T and now i have finally finished my 6 sessions of chemo (last one being on the 6th of march) and am currently waiting to see my consultant to have my implant put back in.
Hope to hear from you soon and hope you are doing well
