Anyone on CMF only?

Hi

I am on a course of CMF and wondered if anyone else is?

I previously had TC 3.5 years ago but had a recurrence this year.

I am wondering about how your hair performed during treatment - I know it can thin but just wonder how much is likely?

Hi Katie

I had EPI then CMF hair fell out on EPI but started growing again when I was on CMF. Was told by onc’s side kick just as I was starting CMF that it wouldn’t make me lose my hair (Was sitting there bald!!!) so hopefully you will be ok!

I did find CMF made me feel very sick compared to EPI so make sure you have lots of anti sickness tablets to hand!

Hi - same experience as T-belle.
Now on CMF and hair is growing back quite quickly, although it’s not very thick or strong.
But very nausous with CMF and some problems with vile taste in mouth.

hi katie
i had cmf last year my hair was destroyed-so thin i felt like gollum! i had that awful metallic taste in my mouth but managed to get through it and am out the other end of the sausage machine. all the best marg x ps i used biotene toothpaste and mouthwash on prescription which helped with nasty taste in mouth in middle of night xx
