Morning maisies, well bloods done so fingers crossed ok for 2nd dunk tomorrow. Christymay I too went through the what if waiting for the ct results which is a normal reaction I think . Mine took a week to get results back so your onc should have them next week. I had 8 out of 15 lymph nodes affected and I got the all clear no spread so fingers crossed you will get the all clear hun x x .
I’ve gone on the facebook link too but had to disable posts due to them feeding straight through to my facebook page and not everyone knows. Gilly do you know how to stop it doing this so I can still use our page?
Hope the girls are ok today at the bar, have a good day maisies love and hugs to all debs x x x
Hi ladies the feed to your own Facebook page is normal I asked my daughter if she could see any of the August Maisie’s posts and she couldn’t or any of my comments again it was no so it is completely private luv to all up today and hope all se’s are minimal xxxRose
Good luck Christy - yes scans are worse than chemo cos its the mental torture waiting for the results. Like Debs I had 12 / 16 lymph nodes affected but my ct came back clear ( thank you Lord) so try and not worry. I found out a week or so later
hi anyone had a hematoma i have seen the GP who dx this, my affected breast is quite pink and there has been lumpiness around my scar WLE I have seen bcn who tied to aspirate but no fluid just blood and have had antibiotics x2 4 weeks later pinkness still there . I did show sister on chemo unit before treatment she wasnt concerned am having a bit of discomfort near SNB scar i believe it can take a while to re absorb, lumpiness not as bad, bcn advised me to ask GP for more antibiotics anyone had similar
Hi Maisies not very good with the facebook thing havent used it before so am back to the forum, can anyone help i had my first chemo last friday, and have found that the steriods have just been wiping me out, so dizzy and out of it, have taken last ones today but has anybody else suffered this i feel totally out of control and dont seem to have a clue what is going on today, and definately not in any fit state to drive anywhere. please help
Hi all, hope everyone is ok, Venice hopefully your haematoma will sort itself out and there will be no need for another op. it does sometimes take the body a few weeks to reabsorb the haematoma. I’ve had my picc line pulled out 5cm today so hopefully my chest pain will settle down. Xxx
Nicola I had a terrible come down off the steroids. I asked them to give me a different anti sickness drug emend and one that they give you via iv with chemo that lasts all cycle that way this time I didnt have any steroids to take. No comedown this time no jittery horrid out of control feeling.
Well I wanted arestful day but with 3 family bdays today it was shopping and visiting. Tomorrow will be calmer with only 1 bday and a meal out so at least I won’t have to cook.
Venice I did have another op and then the leaky boob. When I saw consultant last week he gave me more antibiotics- just incase.
Wondered if anyone else has this- In the evenings when I have no bra and pjs on I get pains in my boob near nipple and cancer site. Feels like I have a little man inside me stabbing me with needles- only just had this as I had been sleeping in a sports bra.
Hope all who were dunked are ok and resting now- I can’t believe how quick these weeks are going.
Spikey hope now they have pulled out the PICC line you pains should ease.
Ps: Had two more cheques arrive today for the fundraising and the total is now: £1025
Hi all, I had a great start to the day, went wig shopping & found a lovely 1 so feel a bit like my ’ old’ self,
Then went to the Hosp for ct scan, drank gallons of water, went in they tried numerous times to get a vein to put dye in but failed, called doc who tried but failed then he said to do it my mx side arm but I have always been told not allowed cuz of lymhodema but doc said that wrong? But I said no cuz that’s wat I been told so now gotta wait again, go in hav a cannula fitted try that way!!
Hurray Julie. The relief is immense isn’t it? I looked like a Chesire Cat the day I got mine! I had bone and CAT scan done months ago- has anyone had them done again before starting chemo?
Nicola I felt exactly same way on steroids, I felt on another planet & def couldn’t drive, but once you stop taking the steroids you do feel a bit more human.
Evening Maisie’s, hope you are all ok. is everyone back who was at the bar today, hope everyone is ok and suffering minimal SEs have a good evening and night everyone xxx
Julie great news bout the scan such a massive weight lifted
Christy - yes we are told not to use affected side even for taking blood pressure but it must be a pain to prolong the scan when you just want a clear mind
Penny is back but feeling pretty zonked out

Whiterose couldnt have hers due to low blood count so has been postponed til next week
